Roy Dale Rogers

Mr. Roy Dale Rogers, age 57 of Centre, passed away December 28, 2024 at Riverview Medical Center in Gadsden. 

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at the Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. George Cobb officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 11 am until the hour of service at the funeral home. 

Survivors include his son, Dylan Rogers; grandchildren Hazel Grace Brackett and Jacob James Rogers; sisters Darlene Jones, Sarah Goforth, and Barbara Ryan; Chosen Brother, Kelly Matthews. 

Mr. Rogers was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Grover A. and Janice Bailey Rogers; Grandmother Elodie “May” Rogers. He was preceded in death by his brother Dale Rogers and sister Barbara E. Rogers. 

He was a veteran member of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, sitting on the beach, scuba diving, and was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide. 

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
